TERMS AND REGULATIONS




  1. Check-in is only possible upon presentation of a valid passport or national ID. In the event of refusal to present a document, the hostel staff reserves the right to deny check-in without refunding the cost of the first night's stay.
  2. Minors must present valid identification (e.g., school ID, health booklet). If they are traveling alone, without a legal guardian, they must have a written parental/guardian consent for accommodation at Hostel Dizzy Daisy.
  3. If identity cannot be verified and/or legal consent for a minor’s stay is not presented, the hostel staff has the right to cancel the booking with no refund for the reservation.
  4. Check-in Policy for Minors:
    1. In accordance with the amendment to the Family and Guardianship Code effective February 15, 2024 (known as the "Lex Kamilek" Act), the hostel is required to verify the relationship between an adult guest and any accompanying minor.
    2. If a child arrives at the hostel with an adult who is not their parent or legal guardian (e.g., grandparent, uncle, family friend), a written consent from the parent or legal guardian is required. Failure to provide this document may result in refusal of accommodation.
    3. The hostel reserves the right to deny check-in.
  5. Guests may use the free Wi-Fi network throughout the hostel. It is forbidden to use the network for illegal activities (e.g., piracy, hacking).
  6. Guests are fully liable for any damage or destruction to hostel property. In such cases, the guest’s payment card provided at check-in may be charged accordingly.
  7. The hostel day starts at 2:00 PM and ends at 10:00 AM the following day. The hostel is open 24 hours a day.
  8. Luggage storage is available before check-in and after check-out, but no longer than 24 hours after departure.
  9. Extension of stay must be requested by 9:00 AM at the reception. Failure to check out by 10:00 AM will result in additional charges.
  10. A VAT invoice will only be issued if a tax identification number is provided at the time of booking. If not provided, only a receipt will be issued and no invoice can be generated afterward.
  11. All telephone, email, and direct bookings become non-refundable upon check-in. Shortened stays are not subject to reimbursement.
  12. Quiet hours are in effect between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM. Violations will result in a 200 PLN fine and possible intervention by the security.
  13. Smoking, alcohol consumption, and the use of any intoxicating substances are strictly prohibited throughout the hostel. Violation of this rule will result in a 500 PLN penalty and expulsion from the property. Unpaid penalties may lead to the involvement of the police and/or security.
  14. In cases of serious misconduct or violation of the rules, the manager or receptionist may require a guest to leave the premises. Refusal to comply will result in police and/or security intervention. No refunds will be given for unused nights in such cases.
  15. Non-hostel guests are not permitted on the hostel premises.
  16. Animals are not allowed on the hostel premises.
  17. The hostel is equipped with a fire safety system. Triggering a false alarm due to disregard of the rules may result in a fine ranging from 5,000 to 20,000 PLN.
  18. Keys must be left at reception each time the guest leaves the hostel. A fee of 60 PLN will be charged for any lost key.
  19. The hostel is not responsible for valuables left unattended. Lost items are stored for 2 weeks after check-out, after which they are disposed of.
  20. The hostel reserves the right to refuse check-in to guests under the influence of intoxicants, behaving aggressively, or previously violating hostel regulations.
  21. Only registered guests may stay in the rooms.
  22. Guests may use kitchenware located in common areas (pots, plates, utensils, mugs, etc.). These items must not be taken out of the kitchen, dining area, or common room.
  23. All complaints will only be processed upon presentation of a receipt or VAT invoice.
  24. In all matters not covered by these rules—particularly those regarding safety, property protection, and respectful conduct—guests are required to follow the instructions of the receptionist or hostel manager.
  25. The person making the reservation agrees to comply with the hostel regulations.
  26. The guest consents to the processing and storage of their personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act by SH&H Sp. z o.o. Sp.k., located at ul. Dietla 58, 31-039 Kraków, registered under KRS: 0000639868, NIP: 6792659490, REGON: 357423617 (hereinafter referred to as Smart Hotel & Hostel), the owner of Hostel Dizzy Daisy at ul. Grunwaldzka 65, Wrocław. Personal data is processed for the purpose of providing accommodation and additional services. The guest has the right to access and amend their data at any time.
  27. The hostel reserves the right to amend the rules. Changes come into effect upon publication on the hostel’s website and at the reception.
